This beautiful, large, double-sided family sign was one of the first large custom project requests at Twigg Homemade. It was designed for a family’s barn and made entirely with red oak hardwood. This sign was 6 feet across and 2 feet tall. The lettering and border were painted black, while the interior was stained with “Early American” stain. The 2-inch thick black border included heavy-duty hangers to hold the sign up in their barn. Every letter was cut from 1/2-inch solid red oak using a CNC machine and hand-sanded before being glued and nailed to the sign. Letter sizes were 5 inches and 3 inches. In total, there were 54 letters made.
